Hey, I’m Jeff! Raised in the Church, I faced a circumstance that would poison me against my faith.  I would eventually become an atheist.  

I chased what I was raised to reject.  I became a worldly wanderer, Hell bent on self destruction.  The more I had and did, the more empty and unfulfilled I felt.  In a spiraling cycle, my life became meaningless, tasteless, pointless, hopeless.  I was completely and utterly lost!

At my lowest point, I had nothing left to try, nothing left to lose.  I did it my way, and it failed to fulfill.  My rudderless ship was approaching the rocks!

At this low point, God revealed Himself in a way that I could not escape or deny.  I cried... for the first time in a long time... I cried. It caused me to reach for God in a simple, meager prayer.  I said "God if you are real, I need you."

That was it!  

I would later find, the Jesus I once loved and left... never left me.  He was there... Slowly, He would reveal Himself, His plans, His call...  He saved me, blessed me, and sent me.  I have been desperately His ever since. He gave me a purpose, a wife, a family... a mission.  My life's focus is to go, do, and be whatever He wants; to simply be His!

Hey, I’m Tyler! I was born with a disease known as Leber Congenital Amaurosis which prohibited the nerves to my retinas from developing properly, resulting in being legally blind. I often say that because I have a limited view of the world physically, I’ve been blessed with a gift to view it perceptually. I grew up in the Midwest where my family owns a restaurant. We regularly attended church, but as a young adult I never resonate with the churches I was acquainted with because they felt phony, and I associated God with that feeling as well. Growing up, I never wanted for anything materially, but always found myself wandering Spiritually. I’ve received many blessings and gifts in my life, but none greater than when I discovered God’s truth and he opened my eyes. Metaphorically, of course. I am married and my wife & I have two daughters that are crazy but awesome. #GirlDad. I’m excited you’re here and I’m hoping these are the conversations you’ve been looking for. Just remember….you may not always have what you want, but you always have what you need!
